I have been in contact with Margaret Wendels (his niece) who sent me a copy of his portrait, which is a treasured reminder for her mother (Raymond's sister) who is now 86 years old.

Raymond was very interested in science and technology and it is believed that he most likely would have gone into medical studies if the war had not intervened.
